Carrot Cake


pertama kali cuba resepi yang diambil dari reader digest...

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ts baking powder
1 ts ground cinnamon
1 ts ground nutmeg
1/4 ts salt
1/2 ts baking soda
3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
2 cups firmly packed grated carrots
3/4 cup walnuts coarsely chopped


Orange Cream Cheese Frosting
3 oz cream cheese
1 ts grated orange zest
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 ts fresh orange juice

** beat the cream cheese and orange zest in a medium bowl. Beat in the confectioners sugar and orange juice - spread the top of the cake

Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. beat the butter and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, one at time, until just blended after each addition. With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in the carrots, walnut and dry ingredients Bake for 40-50 mins.
